Some hibiscus flowers from the area by the pool at my sister Mary's new house in Cranston, RI.
These came from seed collected at a museum in Sweden twenty years ago. They are both the same plant, just different lighting conditions.

Winter's really here. Last Thursday-Friday's ice storm knocked out our power for a while. Most people have it back now. But it's been mostly gray and cold, so here's a sunny picture.
